API key

Affiliate API key

The key is stored encrypted and is used only to read leaderboard data. Stake affiliate tokens can also send tips and gifts; refrace never calls those endpoints. If the platform offers a read-only key, use that.

Use this key only for refrace. Affiliate platforms rate-limit per key (BetBolt is 15 requests/hour). If you also use the same key in your own bot, sheet or dashboard, the shared budget is quickly spent and your leaderboard starts showing upstream 429 errors. Generate a separate key for refrace from your affiliate dashboard.

I accept the terms. I run my race and pay my prizes myself, and I use only my own affiliate account and brand.
