Terms of service

Short and plain. By creating a page you agree to these terms. "We" is refrace; "you" is the person or team who creates a page.

1. What refrace is

refrace hosts leaderboard pages that show standings from your affiliate account on a third-party platform. We do not operate, run or take bets, we do not hold or pay out any prize money, and we are not affiliated with or endorsed by any casino or platform.

2. Your race and your prizes are your responsibility

• You alone decide the rules, the prizes and who wins. The page only displays the numbers your platform's API returns.
• We are not responsible for whether or how you pay prizes to your players. Disputes about prizes, rules or results are between you and your players.
• Standings can be delayed, cached or wrong if the platform's API is. Settle prizes from your platform's own records, not from the page.

3. Your obligations

• You must be at least 18 and follow the platform's affiliate terms and the law wherever your audience is. Do not aim your page at people where gambling or gambling promotion is not allowed, or at anyone under 18.
• Use only your own affiliate account, API key, name and brand. Do not impersonate a casino, a platform, another creator or anyone else, and do not describe your page as official.
• Do not use the page for scams, phishing, misleading promotions or anything illegal.
• Keep your API key valid. You can replace it at any time.
• Your API key is stored encrypted and is used only to read leaderboard data. Stake affiliate tokens can also send tips and gifts. We never call those endpoints. If the platform offers a read-only key, use that.

4. Payments

• Pages are paid in advance in USDC on Base, from the wallet you sign in with. Nothing renews automatically.
• Your page goes live when the payment confirms. We may review it afterwards.
• If we remove a page within 7 days of its first payment because it does not fit refrace, we refund what you paid, to the wallet you paid from.
• No refund is given for a page removed because it breaks these terms, in particular impersonation, a misleading or fraudulent page, someone else's API key or affiliate account, or illegal content. Payments are otherwise not refundable, including for time left when you stop using a page.
• Blockchain transactions cannot be reversed. Check the amount and network before you send.

5. Your data

• We store the wallet address or email you sign in with, your contact, your page settings and your affiliate API key. The key is stored encrypted. We use it only to read leaderboard data. Stake affiliate tokens can also send tips and gifts; we never call those endpoints. If the platform offers a read-only key, use that.
• Player usernames on the public page are masked. Page views and Join clicks on a race page are daily counts. We do not store your visitors' IP addresses in those counts, and we do not set cookies on race pages.
• The main site can set an analytics cookie, and load Google Analytics, only after you accept. Rejecting leaves analytics off. Sign-in uses its own session cookie. Details are on the privacy page.
• Ask us to delete your page and data at any time. Payment records are kept for accounting.

6. Availability and liability

• We aim for pages to be online all the time but do not guarantee it, and platforms can change or limit their APIs.
• We may pause or remove a page that breaks these terms, puts others at risk or harms refrace.
• To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the last three months, and we are not liable for lost profits, prizes, commissions or other indirect losses.

7. Changes and contact

We may update these terms. When we do, you will be asked to accept the new version the next time you save your page. Questions: Telegram.
